Ohmigosh, guys, there is so much I want to tell you.

But I am le tired. And I cannot currently have a nap.

So I will keep it simple this #thankyouthursday and give a shout-out to the beauties who have kept me inspired all week long:

Theses four-dollar flowers are infinitely striking.

An abundance of four-dollar flowers

Aren’t these flowers gorgeous? I feel like carnations get a bad rap because they’re, like, considered cheap or something.

And these were cheap—a mere four bucks at good ol’ Trader Joe’s.

However, given that I’m trying to be extra careful with how I spend my cash, I can still barely believe I got to take home so much beauty for so little money.

An abundance of busy-ness and blessings

I am pretty busy right now; I don’t even have time to tidy up my kitchen table (as evidenced in the photo).

But I am also super blessed:

-Most of the fears and challenges I am facing are self-created.

-I live in a city where I can see Broadway shows on a whim (also as evidenced in the photo—1984 was trippy, btw).

-I have an amazing support system of friends and family who, like, legit believe I can make my dreams come true.

What more could I ask for?

An abundance of reassuring reminders

How about some flowers so strikingly vibrant that every time I see them I am forced to remember that busy-ness is overrated.

Because these flowers consistently get my attention by doing nothing at all.

They provoke my love and admiration just by existing, exactly as they are.

How’s that for a breath of fresh flowers?

Though there is always more we can do, it is also okay to simply be.

Or as one of my favorite images depicts it, “sometimes it’s okay if the only thing you did today was breathe.”

Love > fear,

Christina
