Intellectual, emotional, spiritual—I am provided with nourishment of all sorts. So much so that I sometimes take the most fundamental form of nutrition for granted: You know, actual food.

I am grateful for good eats.

bento box is good eats

When you work in an office and are inconsistently successful at bringing your lunch, you are at the mercy of whatever options are available for purchase nearby. If you work in certain (most?) parts of Manhattan, those options are typically (a) expensive or (b) of dubious quality.

So my gratitude for discovering (c) an affordable bento box that is reliably delicious, filling, and healthy is sincere and immense.

I’m still aiming to bring in my own food each day, but it’s reassuring to remember that even when I fail, I can be well fed.

Love > fear,

Christina

p.s. Not everyone has the kind of access I do to healthy food, or even food, period. If you want to make life better for someone hungry, consider donating the cost of a restaurant lunch to somewhere like City Harvest. I just did that, and it made my #thankyouthursday feel even fuller.
