Living in New York can be intense. There are always people EVERYWHERE. And even so it can feel lonely.
Sometimes I think I’m on my own, or that I have to carry all my burdens alone.
But a quick look around proves me wrong every time.
Post-it wisdom writ large (and small)
Since the election, Post-it notes have been popping up all over Manhattan.
Most of them are in concentrated areas of the subway system, but I’ve seen them in other places too.
Last weekend when I was walking down the street, by myself and lost in thought, I saw a lone Post-it on a lamppost.
“Love trumps hate,” it said. “We have to stick together.”
It does. We do. Interdependence is true.
